Escutcheon Bracelet

Old brass escutcheon, layered and turned into a jewelry component
The base of this bracelet is an old brass escutcheon (keyhole cover) that I carefully bent with bail making pliers and layered with verdigris filigree pieces, vintage resin roses and an old watch face.
I left the worn patina on the escutcheon and the watch face for a grungy kind of steampunk look and added a doubled brass chain.

Chic, grungy, vintage look
I like how it looks feminine and kind of tough at the same time!

Love this bracelet. I hope my vintage finds can be crafted to look this good. Inspiring!

Really neat layering work! The escutcheon makes a great base – and the flowers and off-center jewel add a nice feminine touch to the antique-industrial look. Love it!
