Day of the Dead
by Marnie Ehlers.
(Tucson, Arizona USA)
This challenge inspired me to create a piece for Day of the Dead. A holiday that is very popular in Tucson, AZ where I live.
I used polymer clay, glass beads and some vintage jewelry odds and ends.
I am teaching a class in this next week called “Bringing your old jewelry back to life!”

This piece is so cool on so many levels with all the details involved. I just couldn’t take my eyes off it! Thanks for sharing it.

Day of the Dead bling
by: Rena
I agree with Lynda – love the way you handled the details – the “bling” version of flowers in the eye sockets, the beauty mark on the cheek, and the lipstick-red lips!
Also the dream-catcher hair ornament. Very cool.
I’m sure your students will love this class. 🙂
