Repurposed ball point pens pendants

Last week’s snow storm kept me inside for days.

I decided to clean out my kitchen junk drawer and found several ball point pens that were out of ink.

Rather than throw them out I thought why not try to create something with them.

Here’s what I did.

I disassembled them and saved the bottom pointed ends.

I got out a bunch of odd beads and wire and came up with these attractive pendants.

They were easy and fun to make and I think a great way to use a throwaway.

They can be made to look glamorous or casual depending on what you have on hand.
