Copper Rainbow Necklace

I was in the mood for color when I created this necklace. After a long winter of making lots of darker and neutral colored jewelry I wanted to see a pop of color. I was also itching to use some of my copper findings.
I wire wrapped each bead and arranged the colors to graduate and flow into one another. I used copper rings to add a little interest. One of my favorite beads is the turquoise Czech glass dragonfly bead. I really wanted that one to stand out so I used it to link the large turquoise magnesite stone pendant to the necklace.
I used a variety of beads including cat’s eye glass, freshwater pearls, green aventurine, red agate, Czech glass, faceted crystal tear drops and amazonite.
I was very happy with the final look and it sold at my very next show.
