Venice in Summer

On a very rainy day in Belgium, I decided to add some color to my day and to chase the clouds away.

While I chose the beads for the pair of earrings I wanted to make, I was thinking of our trip to Venice a few years ago. The colorfull island inspired me a lot. I ended up with this combination of red, gold and orange and a subtle touch of blue.

I used tiny golden headpins for the little facetted pearls and a larger headpin for the square bead in the middle.

Then I added all the little pearls on a jumpring and attached them to the big bead. The earring hook was the last item to finish this pair of earrings. Once finished, I could walk on sunshine again!
