The Rock!

Earrings on the rock!

I recently went to a rock store in our area and fell in love with all the beautiful rocks.

There was one that struck my eye and I just had to have it. It’s not real big, but it definitely has its use.

I love unique stuff and this was one beautiful rock I could not pass up!

The colors are so soft and the jewelry looks very nice displayed on this rock.

I hope to get more in the near future!

A wonderfully rugged background – it has a nice neutral color and interesting texture, but doesn’t compete with your jewelry at all.

Great idea!

Stunning!

Thank you Jab and Rena, I appreciate your compliments. The polka dotted bead is a new bead I found at our local bead store, and I fell in love with them. SO different…

Love it! Is it a chunk of rose quartz? Soapstone? What is it? I want one… I want to do a showcase, using those as risers in different heights. I love it! It makes the product look so much more luxurious then my cheap displays. Great Idea!

Thank You!

Hi Alicia…

I love it to…and I don’t know exactly what type of stone it is…It could be quartz….it only cost me about $15…I think, maybe less. The next time I go to the rock shop I will ask and let you know…I want larger pieces too…(should be soon).

Before, I was using these simple glass bottles for photographing my pieces but now I am hooked now on this stone.

Hi Alicia,

Me again…. Well, my sister and I went to the rock store today and he said that its just plain quartz. He had several pieces there but most were rather large and a little pricey. I almost bought another one…LOL…but I found these really fun flat pieces that I thought would work great for display also. I just love this store!!!
