Portable Display Case

Living in Carriacou, Grenada, it is difficult to just go out and buy pre-made carrying cases or items necessary to set up a great jewelry display.
With so many festivals and carnivals (these people love to party) every few months, I needed something easy to carry from festival to festival.

I also wanted it to be a great display piece and present my jewelry in the best possible light.
There was a Peg Board Display Case on Pinterest by Sugar Bee Crafts. I thought, with a few modifications, this could work for me.
A friend made the attached case from wood pieces. Used teacup holders to hold the necklaces and bracelets. He added a metal screen section for the earrings.

Closed Carrying Jewelry Case
We used an old leather belt on the outside to carry the case and a small latch to keep it closed when not in use.
I think it came out beautiful and is so functional. I love it! It has made my traveling from festival to festival very easy.
