Upcycling is the process of converting old or discarded materials into something useful and often beautiful.

Another term is “creative reuse”.

Our Lady of the Snows Bracelet

I found this broken rosary with beautiful clear faceted beads and silver components.

I enjoyed researching the scenes and writings on the connectors which I found out was a devotion to Mary, Our Lady of the Snows.

Our Lady of the Snows Earrings

I used all of the components to make a necklace, bracelet, and earrings.

I added some additional pearls, beads and findings to enhance the vintage components.
