Fireplace Screen Jewelry Display

Fireplace Screen Jewelry Display

I purchased 2 fireplace screens from a thrift store (they were still new in the box) and some drapery hooks.

I pushed the drapery hooks through the screen to hang my jewelry on.

The hooks are very easy to push through and you can move them to fit as many jewelry pieces as you want.

This eye catching display works well when setting up for a show ( I usually just leave the jewelry on and transport it that way).

Great Idea!

Don’t ya just love those thrift shops, now if they would only sell Cabochons!! Seriously I really like that idea, thanks.

beautiful backdrop

One of the best display ideas I’ve seen in a while!! Thank you so much. I currently use photo frames with upholstery nails in the tops. I put beautiful scrapbook paper behind the glass and then drape necklaces all over them. They are quite pretty!
I also use black wire pieces to display things here and there, with your typical black velour displays, and the fireplace screen would be a gorgeous backdrop!!! Thank you so much!!!

LOVE THIS!

I’ve been using screens for years for my earrings, and used to make them out of decorative molding and window screen – but never have I seen anyone actually use a fireplace screen! Tons of room and a great way to fill a decent space at a show!

I’m also thinking that this sort of gives the buyers a sense of privacy as they are looking at your stuff, instead of staring directly into the face of the seller – but yet the seller can keep an eye out in case attention to customers is needed. Does that make sense? Love this!

Brilliant display idea
by: Rosemary

This idea is brilliant! I’ve been looking for ideas to display my longer length necklaces, none of the stands are high enough, and most jewellery booths I’ve seen make their own board-type displays which you can’t see through. I’m going to start looking for one of these right away!!!!

WOW!

I am removing my screen from the fireplace right away to try this out. Awesome…Thanks… Yvonne in the Adirondacks

Way to recycle!
by: Laurie

What a great way to recycle something that may have ended up in the trash. It’s surprising what we can re-use and make it into something really beautiful.

Great idea

I will use this idea for my next show. What a great way to get some height to your display and have something in the background.

Fireplace Screen Displays

I have been using fireplace screens for my displays for a couple years now. Gold Christmas ornament hooks also work well. I also purchased non tarnishing cloth from the fabric store and cover my jewelry right on the screens and store them folded either in the original box or just stangind against the wall in a spare bedroom.

Wow!!!

I love love love the fireplace screen idea. I was looking for something like this to display my earrings on and now I have found it.

Thanx!!!
