I had always wanted to create using melted plastic in some kind of project. So here it is, I call it Silver Bacon.

I cut up a raspberry tray and drew stripes on it with a Silver Sharpie. When I was melting the strips over the candle flame it just reminded me of bacon.

The way it bent and curled while heated. The chevron portion is hand crocheted with florists paddle wire. I have one or two bead stashes (wink, wink) to choose from and chose something in a pale lilac colour to complement the silver.
