In Options for Marketing Your Jewelry, I posted about a Florist who contacted me about making a botanical line of my enamels for her shop.
Another strange thing happened recently.
The owner of my favorite coffee shop wanted to put a couple of earring racks in her shop…she is selling them like crazy and to my surprise she sold the most expensive pair first!
Someone walked in for a cup of coffee and purchased a pair of $44 earrings!
I have a range between $17 and $44 just to see where her sweet spot is going to be.
Think outside the box when you’re marketing your jewelry!

What wonderful opportunities! Rena’s book – Easy Ways to Sell Your Jewelry Every Day – has lots of great and unusual ideas like that, too. I love her books!
An exciting start at the coffee shop, Dianne! And just think of how many folks go there as part of their daily routine – and how they’re looking at the earring display as they wait for their coffee. Great venue, and it’s lovely to share your brilliant start there!
That is fantastic! Customers can shop while waiting for their coffee. I never would have thought of that but it makes sense.
Dianne,
Kudos! I know you are beaming because you now have venues that are lucrative and that is so very positive. I pray you have continued success…
Congratulations!
What a great story!
Last spring I was traveling and stopped in a coffee shop in Pagosa Springs, CO. They had three of four jewelry displays from jewelry artisans. I was curious and so asked the manager and she said all of the jewelry sells quite well.
This is great inspiration to think outside of the box.
Your pieces are beautiful, what a great deal for you. It’s so nice when other people love your work, continued success!
