Twenty pence earrings

A friend recently discovered a coin collection he had stashed away and offered them to me.

Coins and pearls

I gladly accepted knowing that I could use them in my jewelry designs.

Green pearls and gold brings out the color in this coin

I drilled holes in them with the help of a friend with a drill press.

Faceted crystal and freshwater pearls were used to highlight this coin

So far I have made earrings, a bracelet and a necklace. I have lots more to work with and I am excited to work them into new designs.
