Kunzite pendant open back

I like to use Argentium Silver because it is tarnish resistant and will fuse to itself.

While torch soldering this piece I was pressing it with tweezers when pop! My tweezers went right through the backplate!

Kunzite pendant

After a few choice words I threw it in the pickle and thought about what I should do. When I looked at it I figured I should just cut out the back plate anyway to let the light through! It worked! Aka a happy accident! Saved the pendant!

My Uncle Fred an artist was teaching my cousins and I how to draw with a pen .. we were 3- 8 year olds sitting around grandma’s table I started to cry cause I was trying to draw a cat… he said it’s ok turn it into something else, there are no mistakes in art you just create. My mom has a proud picture of y first owl and my uncle said I was gifted… I am now 62 and I use that everyday in everything I create …

your piece is just brilliant! beautiful! and so amazing!
