Where Do You Buy Your Gold Filled Findings?

Where Do You Buy Your Gold Filled Findings? - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

I am trying to identify wholesalers that carry a full line of gold filled findings including jump rings, clasps, stacking rings, earring components.

I know about the larger ones like Stuller and Rio Grande but wonder if there are others that people really like working with.

Thank you.

Try allearringsandsuppli at Etsy. I recently purchased gold filled earring components and am very happy. They do wholesale as well.

  • Janine says:

Halstead bead co. Had great quality. There is a $100 minimum but sometimes I go in with a friend who does beading to hit the minimum. Good luck!

This is my go to for quality metal (including gold filled) wire, chains and findings. No minimum purchase and they have great tutorials.

  • I’ve been using https://www.wholesalejewelrysupply.com/en/ for several years. Great personal service.

Try Wholesale Jewelry Supply out of Cranston, RI

  • Eileen Macloud says:

    CGM Findings is another supplier.

  • Wow, this is a great question! I have a hard time finding gold filled. Always wind up at Rio Grande.
    These are great suggestions!

Steve – I purchase gold-filled ear wires and findings often through Artbeads.com.

  • Laurel says:

    I use CGM findings

I use Beadcorp in Florida. They have the lowest prices I’ve found & excellent quality. Here’s a few examples: 10-7mm spring ring clasps for $8, 13.5mm lobster clasp $3.65, 5mm 18G jump rings 25 for $6.35. However, I haven’t checked out these other stores so I’m really grateful you asked this question! I’ll check each one soon.

I am new to jewelry making. Do GF findings resist tarnishing? Things I have made with cheapo gold-colored jumps and chain look dirty and old over time.

  • Linda says:

Try Kamal Trading. I usually stock up from them at the trade show but they are also online. Love the quality of their merchandise and their prices are reasonable.

  • Lynn says:

I mostly make jewelry for friends, family and myself but I’ve used artbeads.com for my gold filled findings and beads for years. They have free shipping at $25 and run sales too.

  • Magee, check out this link: https://www.halsteadbead.com/articles/gold-filled-vs-gold-plated .. You must have used gold-plated findings before.

  • My main online shop where I buy most of my jewelry supplies is Fire Mountain Gems, but I also purchase from Artbeads, Fusion Beads, Jewelry Supply, Beadaholique, and others. Hope this helps! 😊
