Selling Jewelry Pieces

Hi Rena,
I’m writing because I have a question about marketing. How you you and others sell their pieces.

First I must say that I don’t have a web site and have been taking pictures of my designs and sending them to friends/family via my e-mail.

I have participated in holiday boutiques, open houses and have recently visited some of the trendy stores in my area.

The holiday boutiques were at neighborhood churches, open houses were at my home. I had one just last week and featured irish linen wrapped bracelets. I used beads from Michael’s to keep cost down, sold them for $20.00 each.

Bottom line – I invited about 45 friends and co-workers requesting an RSVP. None replied and I had 5 people come. I’m beginning to think I’ll be unable to continue if I can’t sell things.

I’ve read all the info. you provide but nothing seems to fit for me. I’d appreciate any suggestions from you or your jewelry making community.
