Ocean Themed Basket For Sea Glass Jewelry / Beach Stone Jewelry

We recently received an order from one of our customers who had ordered sea glass jewelry from us several times in the past few years. He wanted to purchase three of our new beach stone jewelry designs for his wife’s upcoming birthday.

His plan was to take her away to a beautiful Inn on the coast of Maine, which is a short distance from our studio. He requested that we deliver the jewelry to the Inn so that the jewelry gifts would be there for her arrival.

This is what we came up with and it was so much fun to create.

We used a Cape Cod basket and filled it with raffia and then placed our 3 jewelry boxes, which we had wrapped in our own ocean themed designs, around the raffia.

We then surrounded the gift boxes with a variety of beach treasures including shells, sanddollars and starfish and wrapped the basket with clear clear celloplane wrap.

For an extra special touch we made a small arrangement of shells and hot glued them in the middle of the raffia bow.

One of our gift cards and business cards was placed tied on one of the raffia strings and hung beautifully over the wrapping.

The gift basket was delivered the previous night to the Inn and we later heard from our customer who was delighted with this arrangement for his wife.

I have to say we were quite happy with the way this basket turned out. It was alot of work, but well worth it.

What an awesome idea. I always wanted to offer personal delivery for my jewelry. Someday. The Nantucket basket, shells and raffia add such a special touch. That would also make a great summer birthday gift for someone. Good luck! May you sell some more.
