One year ago this week I lost my mom, my best friend, my partner in jewelry crime. She loved gold. She beaded in gold, she painted in gold, she covered in gold.

I am slowly using her stash of jewelry finding, meshing it with my own. Thinking about her this week I made this amulet bag because she would love it.

My daughter named it, my mom’s name was of course Elaine.
