Homemade jewelry cleaner is a great item to give to your customers – to help them take care of the items they purchase from you, and remind them of your business every time they use it!
I print the recipe on a small card and include it in the bag when they purchase. They love it!!
Here’s the recipe:
Homemade Jewelry Cleaner
- 2 tablespoons liquid hand soap
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon ammonia.
Add a drop of food coloring to make it look just like the store-bought cleaners.
Store in a clean glass jar.
Briefly soak jewelry in the cleaner and rinse with water.
Pat dry with soft cloth.
Can use on gold, silver, costume jewelry.
Do not use on opal or other porous stones.
How Long Does the
Homemade Jewelry Cleaner Last?
I made this recipe over a year ago, and it’s still cleaning my jewelry! If you have some old jewelry cleaner, reuse the jar. Just rinse and clean and refill with the new cleaner!
