Wire With a Twist!

Unwind by winding up!
I’m so excited to share one of my early creations!
Sadly my inspiration for this piece came when my daughter was in the hospital for one of her many visits.
She has crohn’s disease but doing very well these days!
My mind was so twisted during those stays that when I went home in the evenings, I needed to unwind so I found some old telephone wire the guys used to give kids from the service trucks years ago and some old craft wire.
I dug out something called a coiling gizmo and made my own beads then I made this necklace separating the beads with clear glass discs.
If you’ll notice my clasp, one comment mentioned making figure 8 closures (I found mine at a craft store long ago):
and Rena’s crimp covers tutorial (issue 348) would’ve been perfect!
They’re what made me think of this old necklace!
