Moonstone adjustable ring

This is my first ring that I made using gold coloured copper wire and moonstones.

I previously hadn’t usually gold coloured or gold plated wire as I am a silver person.

Moonstone adjustable ring

But whilst on holiday in New Orleans I found a craft shop that only sold gold coloured wire and I’m so glad I did.

I bought the gauges which I needed and here is the result a beautiful adjustable ring.

It’s interesting when serendipity guides art in unexpected ways! This is a gorgeous wire ring, Bernadine – and I think the gold wire is just right with these beads. Plus it makes a lovely memory from your New Orleans vacation.

Oh Bernadine, this is an absolutely beautiful piece. I love moonstones! I’m not really into making rings, but you’ve inspired me to give them a try. What gauge wire did you use for the base and wrapping? Thank you for sharing.
