Wicked Bracelet

The quote on my PMC and Argentium chainmaille bracelet started as a small dispute with a friend: He said the quote came from Ray Bradbury’s novella,”Something Wicked This Way Comes.”

Being a language fan, I scoffed at him. The line comes from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth.” Obviously, Bradbury was a Shakespeare afficianado. The quote reads, “By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.”

I made the bracelet to commemorate my literary victory and modeled it after a vintage ID bracelet. My friend wears it proudly!

It is great that you used a quote for your piece so that it can be versatile past the Halloween holiday.

Great bracelet

That is a great quote for a bracelet. It gives me the shivers. Your wonderful gift will bring your friend a lot of enjoyment and remind him that you were right every time he wears it.

Love it!

Great story with this piece. And a wonderful truce offering for your friend.

How do you STAMP perrrrfectly?
by: April Blodgett

I just started stamping metal and it does not turn out well at all. Either the letters stamp sideways (even though it was straight before striking the hammer) or you can’t see it. Maybe its the quality of the stamps that I have???

I have read alot of blogs on tips but still I can’t do it right.

How do you do it????

Stamp Perfect

If I just need a word or two, I struggle along like everyone else. But, if I need several words or a quote, I have a rubber stamp made. Saves a lot of headaches!
