Raindrops

After 3 years of working with metals, I finally purchased a kiln and some metal clay.

I was going to use the kiln for enamels anyway after torch firing for a few months.

It was another major purchase for me, the first being the Foredom Flex Shaft and Smith Little Torch.

I was a little afraid at first, the working time for metal clay is fairly short and those little packages are cheap, but then I do end up with fine silver.

Birthstone Necklace

As usual, when I am learning any new technique I stalk the pros on YouTube and ask the techs at Rio Grande Jewelry Supply any questions I might have.
