…so beautiful, so special….

If there is something I really enjoy, it is embossing of aluminium and then colouring each piece with alcohol ink as I want it to look.

Try it with different colors of alcohol ink.

But the alcohol ink goes its own way. What a wonderful surprise when you lightly sand the coloured embossed piece and a wonderful picture emerges.

This was made as a gift for a Bird-Lover

Then the fun part begins – making very special pendants.

  • Izelle, I love how the alcohol ink goes its own way and does its own thing – an art that can’t be exactly replicated. And this necklace with a flock of little birds would be a great piece for a bird lover!

Those are beautiful little mini paintings! Those are nifty findings with the glass domes. I’ve wanted to experiment with both aluminum burnishing and alcohol inks. Thanks!

    Very unique designs Izelle!

Lovely coordination of pendants and bird-themed links–a very special, different necklace.

Are the embossed and painted pendants under glass domes or is the shine from the embossing/painting/sanding process?
