Just Started Casting Sterling Silver by Duane Aldrich  - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

I’m using 3d printed designs I created, but you can use items you find around the house or at the craft store. My wife made a copy of a charm she had and it came out great. Sorry, didn’t get a pic of it.

I just started casting sterling silver. I was shocked at how easy it is.

Fresh out of the sand caster. BTW, I got the casting kit on Etsy from DIY Casting.

You can’t cast anything with an overhang. Basically 2 sides of a 3 dimentional item, but great for charms and parts of jewelry and a fantastic way to use the silver scraps.
