Ear Cuff Conundrum – People Want to Try Them on
by Kerrie Venner.

Rena’s brilliant wire ear cuff tutorial has resulted in a surprisingly steady if modest sale of these cuties:
I have even managed to sell enough to get an idea of customer responses to them (for me a milestone!).
Whilst I have Rena’s excellent ear images and I’m very grateful to Rena for her permission to reproduce it on my stand, people are often intrigued but want to try one to see if they can actually put one on.
So my dilemma is this: for hygiene purposes, I don’t want to allow everyone to try them on.
Whilst I don’t mind personally, I wish to be mindful of my responsibilities.
For regular earrings I have earring wands.
Apart from a small diagram and link to a good online how to video, I’m not sure what else I can do.
One idea I have just had, would be to have a lefty and a righty pair of ear cuffs, and make it clear they are for trying on, and have antiseptic wipes available.
Your thoughts and suggestions would be welcomed! I’m in the UK by the way and love the JMJ when it drops into my email box.
