Bracelets for cancer awareness and 1 extra

A dear friend of mine was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so I made pink bracelets for awareness, and I wore something pink every day until she was cancer free.

Here are some of the bracelets I made during that time.

Some of the bracelets went pretty quickly, to other friends of hers, as we all tried to support her during that time.

I was doing some experimental beading at the time, so these bracelets are all based with superduos and crystal 11/0 seed beads.

The turquoise colored bracelet is made of tilas, superduos, and 11/0 crystal seed beads.

  • Karen, what a wonderful way to support your friend. Iā€™m sure it meant a lot to her to know how much you cared. And the bracelets you made during that time were a lovely way to let your friend know that she had a lot of people pulling for her.

what a beautiful idea and such lovely bracelets. Those aren’t bracelets they are treasures as you are to your friend. I love this.

  • Linda, I love your beautiful thought! šŸ™‚

Now I’m wearing pink for my oldest daughter. She has gone through her chemotherapy, and will soon have a double mastectomy. She was diagnosed shortly after my friend was cancer free.

  • Karen, I’m so sorry to hear what’s happening to your daughter. Prayers and hugs to both of you.
