Well loved vintage jewelry, inspires me to arrange interesting pieces into new jewelry creations. This necklace joins two vintage bracelets with a rusty but upcyled piece of antique hardware. A picture from yesteryear was afixed to a clear, glass disk then adhered to the metal piece using jewellers grade adhesive.

Further embellishment with parts scavenged from ’50’s era earrings and other assorted finds, finishes this statement necklace.

  1. Deborah, this necklace is a really interesting piece of repurposed art! I especially like the cleverness of using two different bracelets to be the sides of the necklace chain. Also, you have an eye for finding interesting treasures to remake into jewelry! Do people ever ask to buy one of your necklaces – right off your neck?
