Parure Set, Fit for Wearing to a Ballet, by Leslie - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

I made this parure set for a challenge that had us take a piece (see the filigree in the picture), cut it up and reuse it in different ways. The lovely 22 carat gold plating was calling to me, and when I found the ballerina and ballet shoes, I knew they wanted to be an amazing piece fit to wear to a ballet.

I love making hand wire-wrapped segments instead of just using chain. My pieces are Romantic Vintage-Inspired Jewelry. The company I buy my products from is B’Sue Boutiques where they have proprietary rights to use molds of pieces from The 1928 Company. I love their products more than anywhere else. My work and designs have grown so much since using their pieces available.
