Tiny Bouquet Pin

Tiny copper flowers with wire stems in a copper florist’s paper, made into a brooch
I had created three tiny copper flowers on wire stems some time ago. They had been tied with a little brass wire and put away as I couldn’t think of what to do with them.

While looking through my stash for inspiration (again), I decided to put them in something. I wanted to keep it light so a basket or vase would be too heavy. I finally thought of wrapping them in a copper cone like the paper wrap from a florists’ shop.
At first it was a somewhat awkward pendant. It finally became a pin by wrapping some brass (because it’s stronger than copper) wire at the “back” and looping it at the bottom of the cone.

This is simply enchanting, Zoraida. Your little copper flowers are so sweet, and your copper florist’s cone is the perfect holder for them. A lovely, unique, uncluttered pin design – your copper creations never cease to amaze me!
Thank you

Thank you
I love working with copper sheet and still have a lot to learn. I’m finding I really like the sculptural aspect of working with it. Still need to overcome the fear of soldering so I can go further.
