Once I made this one in my friend’s favorite colors, I decided to make a few more.

This weekend, I needed to put together a little gift for a friend.

Casting around in my stash, I found some cute large kilt pins with an unusual curvy shape.

I found a stash of autumnal orange and red glass beads and orange crystals.

Perfect for wire-wrapping seed beads, I hoped!

Once I figured out how much wire I would need to cover the shape in one go, they quickly fell together.

This playful blend of colors will keep the mood light – good on gloomy days.

I added a little dangle on the bottom to carry the color through the hinge, and create movement.

I like the way these turned out – and with sweater/scarf weather coming – I can see making many more!

Something sparkly for the holidays!
