I entered a contest for Miriam Haskell design jewelry. (Miriam Haskell was a designer of costume jewelry from the 1920’s to 1960’s.)
This was my submission. The best part is I learned so much making these pieces.
You can’t imagine how many times I took the necklace apart because I counted wrong. And it took days but I learned how to stitch.
All in all I was pretty happy when the project was finished. I didn’t win the contest but I came in the running and I sold one of my brooches.
