Rugged Jewelry Display Trays: Which Are Best?

Please provide specific information on the composition on the jewelry display trays you use for your business: wood, cardboard, plastic, paper, leatherette, velvet, etc.

I am in the process of researching a travel case with trays to purchase. Am trying to figure out the best composition for a sturdy tray that will withstand the rigors of transportation, display and handling for shows.

Any observations or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
