Digital photos frame is the best tool to capture a lot of attention!

by Lorena Angulo.
(San Antonio, TX)

My digital frame in one of the art shows this year.

I mentioned this great tool before and I will definitely tell you that this can be the best investment you can make to add in your booth display.

As I mentioned before, adding pictures of your work and all the information about your business is very easy.

These frames have the option to have a photo display, music and video sometimes.

If you want to have an idea of what you can make for your digital frame take a look at my digital photo frame jewelry display video.

I made this video with my Picasa program, and it was very easy to organize.

Your video is such a wonderful and extremely professional way to show your jewelry range.

Also the way you’ve set up the digital photo frame in your booth looks absolutely fabulous.

Nice display

I like you photo frame display idea. Can it run with batteries? My shows this summer are outdoors with no electricity. I also think your work is really lovely.

I also use a digital picture frame.
by: JoAnne Green

I also use a digital picture frame in my booth. It is set up to turn on and off at specific times. It displays the range of my designs and materials. It is very useful in displaying items that have sold. Some of my custom commissions have started from the photos of my past work. While no 2 pieces are the same, they are sometimes variations of a design concept.

I find the movement of the changing pictures will often catch a passer-by’s eye, inducing them to stop and look at the rest of my display.

No electricity/inverter
by: Many Lodges

Here is a helpful tip for when you need some power to run low wattage items. You can use a simple inverter to turn a 12 volt car/boat/truck battery into a 110 volt power source. Many small inverters cost from 25 to 65 dollars. The run lights, computers, digital photo frames and more. Simply see how much wattage you need by adding up all of the things you want to run and buy a little bigger inverter. If you only need about 40 watts, be on the safe side and buy a 60 watt unit. That way you will not trip the invertor and shut things off. They have a safety trip so you do not overuse them. These handy little devices should help out some of you. A nice thing to have in small spaces or outdoors.
Blessings all, Many Lodges

No power for outdoor shows
by: PatriciaV

I absolutely love the idea of the inverter. Never even thought of something like that. I do lots of shows that are either outdoors or indoors with outrageous prices for electrical hookup. I was wanting to use my digital picture frame but didn’t have a way to hook it up. Thank you all for the information.

Digital Photo Frame

I am so happy to see this idea is working out well. I have bought a digital photo Frame for just this purporse. I intent to use it at my next show.thanks for the input.

Someone need an inverter?
by: donnarainey

Have a brand inverter that I used once. Not doing outdoor shows anymore due to medical reasons.
I have a Duracell 1500 Watt inverter. It sold for about $200 and I got it on sale for $125. I am selling it for $65 and you pay shipping. The weight should be around 10 lbs. My zip is 29642. I live outside of Greenville, SC so if you are close you can pick it up.

Here is a website that shows a picture and tells all about it

Use of batteries indoors
by: Mark

Regular acid type batteries are not generally approved for indoor use; however there are special batteries that are…. they are expense but are not likely to blow up on you.

For use of anything out of the ordinary, such as batteries, torches etc., always check first with the local Fire District as in many cases they may be banned or restricted from use.

Great Idea
by: BooCee

I am just starting out and am looking forward to my first real craft show this December. I have been creating a powerpoint presentation of my work to use at my booth. I was going to use my laptop with a fully charged battery. But, reading this idea and watching the video, it seems to be better than the laptop. Thanks for the wonderful great idea.

I love this newsletter, it always have some very insightful ideas and suggestions. And the books are bad either.

Thanks so much Lorena. I’ve been trying to decide if a digital photo frame was a good idea and you’ve convinced me!
I think your jewelry is fantastic. So original and creative! Best of luck with future sales.

Thanks for the Reminder!
by: Pam

I remember posts about this earlier, and never got around to doing it. Just this week I came across my own digital frame that was a gift a couple of years ago (never used!) – Perfect time to get it up and running, before shows start up!

Thanks for the nudge!

Love this idea!!!

What is very nice about this idea is that you can get your message across to people even if you are waiting on other customers. They can look and listen and get the same information and not feel ignored. Fabulous idea. I am very new to selling jewelry and I’m happy to say I’ve done very well. I am grateful for this website and for all of the wonderful tips it shares. Thank you. Brenda
