Craft Show Ethics

I did a craft show (?)  at a local company and was placed between Silpada and Tupperware.

Needless to say, I did not make a dime.  How can a handcrafted jewelry artist ( I do Native jewelry) compete with a merch representative of a big name business when they are placed right next to you.

It made for a very loooonnnnnng day- 7 hours to be exact.  I did not know this when I signed up; only after I had gotten there and started setting up.

And I thought that it was a Craft Show and not a trade show for reps; oh yeah, Pampered Chef was there also.

Any suggestions??
