Craft Fair at Yokohama Takashimaya Department Store in Japan

Jewelry booth in a Japanese craft fair

I made a necklace display with picture frame, paper, felt and wood.

I painted a few sized empty boxes (priority mail box and shoes boxes) to raise the frame. Boxes are not heavy, easy to fold and go.

The material was cheap. It is light to carry.

I am sure crafty people like you jewelry artists can easily make display like this!

Customers seemed to pay more attention to the pieces that are displayed alone.

Then they look into more pieces.

Thank you so much for sharing your craft fair display!

It’s interesting to see a booth set up in a department store – and what a great place for an event, with people already there in a “shopping” frame of mind.

Your displays look very nice, and the painted boxes are a lovely way to raise them up.

I hope you did well at the craft fair!

Mari, your display is pretty. I really like the lavender paper with the jewelry. Thanks for the light weight box idea.
