Wire Wrapping for Unique Styles & Personalities

During a trip to Sedona, Arizona, with 2 good friends, I bought each a stone for wire wrapping that I presented as a surprise souvenir later back home.

I picked stones that said, “Pick me for…” These stones would be the motivation for me to finally read the wire wrapping book and do some serious wire wrapping with my Argentium silver and gold-filled wires.

What I discovered in the process was that both the stone and the recipients dictated different styles of wrap. For one friend who has a bolder personality, I wired wrapped a Honey Calcite in both gold-filled and silver wire in a more formal style.

For the other friend who has a softer, less direct personality, I wired wrapped a Rhodrocrosite in a more fluid and delicate style.
