Using an Earring Finding for a Pendant by Kathleen Zaleski Davis - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

Turning something that is meant to be an earring into a pendant was kind of fun to do.

I had one silver earring finding on my jewelry table and was making this necklace and decided to add some beads to it and use it as a pendant.

I kind of like it…I used a silver metal feather, Czech glass beads, white faceted beads and two silver metal spacers.

The turquoise and red beads are simulated turquoise/howlite. I like how it turned out. I may try to use other things that are really not meant to be pendants to see how they look on other things I am making.
