Red glass beads, metal beads, and my own little spiral headpins at the bottom

A couple of issues back, Rena showed some great ideas using filigree stamped components and showed how to raid our bead stash to create something special.

I did just that and these are the results.

Swarovski and metal beads

I used a variety of glass beads, swarovski, and even some metal beads to adorn these little bits of filigree I’d been gifted by a friend. I went into a bit of a filigree frenzy and couldn’t stop until these three pairs were complete.

Swarovski rhomboids and metal beads

I have arthritis in my hands so I’m limited on how much time I can spend wire wrapping. Good thing too, or I’d have been wrapping all day, getting lost in the creative process, and having a great time.

Thanks for letting me share and I love that we have such a caring community here on JMJ. You’re all an inspiration to me.

I saw the word filigree & had to look! Your earrings are great for those dressy, casual days, going out on a date or with the girlfriends. I’ve always loved filigree. And I identify with having arthritis & wanting to keep going but shouldn’t! I suppose it develops self-discipline 😏
