A Bad Thing Gone Good

My friend in British Columbia, Canada went rock hounding. He found this beautiful stone and ground it down into a cabochon. He wanted to have a piece of jewelry made for his wife. As he came to the last step of polishing the cab, it flew out of his hands, on to the cement floor. Alas, the bottom cracked off. He was heartbroken! It sat in his workshop drawer for two years, until we met. He asked if I could do anything with it. This was the result. He and his wife were thankful! I was glad to help out.
