My first metal stamped heart
Rena, I mentioned I’d like to try metal stamping after seeing your post Metal Stamps – Tips and Techniques and finally, my first two tiny pieces!

My second metal stamp!
So, we had a long hallway at work with empty walls.
I got permission to use the space for an art gallery for our staff.

I Still Love Stones
I submitted 2 of my sets in ‘shadow boxes’.
Here’s the connection…if you look closely, you will see my first stamps by the clasps! One says ‘LU’, the other says ‘hand made’.

Fun with Leather Cord
I know it’s a small step but I believe I’m really going to enjoy metal stamping! Thank you for introducing me!
The other two are pieces I just finished. One is made of cut stones and the other, an experiment with leather cord!

Hi. I really like your shadow boxes that you use to display your “art”. May I ask what material the pins stick into to hold the jewellery in place? Thank you!
LuElla, I’m so glad you’ve discovered the joy of stamping! It’s so addictive. I will enjoy seeing your future stamped creations. And I love the scenic jewelry set in photo 3.
Sure! I got the shadow box with the red hearts on the close-out shelf at the craft store. The back was missing so I had some tissue paper and covered the cardboard with it. I have some really short push pins and carefully pushed them into the cardboard at an angle so as not to go through the cardboard.
The box with the black and white set has a fabric covered piece that should normally come with the shadow boxes. Hope this helps!
Thank you Rena! I can’t wait to get good at it! The scenic focal stone is actually called ‘Picture Jasper’. I found it at a big gem show I attend annually! I wish I could have gotten more slices, they had some really awesome scenes on them!
