What’s the Best Way to Paint Beads?

I have a lot of beads that are just plain silver or gold and I want to add some color.

I want to do this with spray paint to make it simple. I didn’t know if there was a special kind of spray paint that I should use for this.

Do I also need to spray something on after as a sealant?
