My Muse:  Photo 2 – Monk at Angkor Wat

The inspiration for my necklace was the Monk at Angkor Wat. I had these rectangle slate grey stones for a long time and did not know what to do with them. The moment I saw the picture I immediately thought of them.

The focal piece I had just as long and I believe it is an irregular shaped color glass. To put them all together I used grey hemp cord and did a square knot chain to give it an organic feel. Now I am really inspired to find some fabric to make a kimono or kaftan top to wear my necklace with.
