Wire Wrapped Pendants

Yellow Obsidian and Bronze wire with a chain
I really need to work on perfecting wire worked pendants. You wouldn’t believe how difficult this is for me. I’m used to creating necklaces and bracelets, but now, I absolutely need to master a technique for wire working pendants. The pressure is stressing me out!
The show that I’m doing in ONE WEEK requires that I wrap pendants fast for customers who purchase rocks, cabs and all sorts of things within a short period of time (about 15 minutes).

Turquoise and bronze pendant
I can only hope that customers become distracted by my jewelry long enough for me to bumble along with their project. Yikes, somebody help me find an easy wrap (with round wire?) that I can adapt for multiple shaped stones.

Mother of Pearl with copper – much to time consuming
Every time I try to wrap a stone I end up with more work than I intended. I’m so accustomed to using round wire that square wire feels award and unfortunately for me, square wire seems to be the standard. I’m afraid of making a mess of it.
Here are a few failed attempts at creating, just a pendant.
