Wire Wrapped Green Aventurine
by Julia Ferry.

I used Copper wire.
I used a large green aventurine.
I created a basket woven with 18 gauge copper and 20 gauge copper.

This picture shows you the nice large bail I created.
I found the Aventurine at a gem show in the 90’s. So had it sitting around and I finally decided to use it with copper.

I turned the ends of the 18 gauge wire into a curved loop creating a very nice graceful swirl.
I had tried with sterling silver but it didn’t feel right. I tend to have an idea and usually my idea takes many turns until it comes out right.
I call it my flow my jewelry has to have a flow of color and design and energy.

This is the back view.
