Textured copper riveted cherry creek jasper

This piece was made with copper texturized with a rolling mill.

I set the stone by riveting and added a silver flower.

I call it my favorite things because I love cherry creek jasper, copper, rolling mill textures and riveting.

  • Lisha, it’s lovely to create with all your favorite elements and techniques! My favorite element in this piece is the tiny flower. Gorgeous!

  • Colleen says:

Very nice work! Love working with copper.
Adding the flower was a cute idea that added that “it” factor.

  • Nita says:

I would have loved to watch you make this piece. It almost looks like brass with copper inlay. How did you get that patina?

  • Moogie says:

Lisha, this pendant came out perfect! You started with a beautiful stone & “decorated” it so that it can stand alone. I’m so glad you shared your creativity. I tend to look through my stash for a ready-made bail & call it done! This looks so much better.

Nita, I think you are looking at the stone! It really does look like metals that have been combined & patinaed.
