It took me a few years before I decided to design and handcraft jewelry. At first I thought I would be a school teacher, but then thought it would suit me best to try and beautify women with my jewelry.

When I decided that this is what I would love to do in my life, I attended a well established jewelry design school, where I’ve learnt various jewelry making techniques, and continued with various artisan jewelry studios in my home town.

My name is Irith Rita Mashiah. When I first signed up to Etsy I decided to call my shop RIORITAJEWELRY . I design and handcraft my jewelry in my own workshop, by combining various metals, mainly Sterling Silver and Gold, with authentic precious and half precious stones.

I like to handcraft jewelry in free form shapes, ancient Roman glass, and 2000 years ancient Greek and Roman coins. All my jewelry is handmade by myself. I invest lots of passion and care in my designs. When I have a new idea in my mind, I can hardly wait to get to my studio, create it and see the outcome.

Most of my jewelry consists of One of a Kind items. I also handcraft Limited Edition jewelry in which I include similar designs, although no two items are fully identical, as they are all made with my two hands.
