This “bigger” piece of moonstone was waiting his place on a piece of jewelry.

I bought it two years ago and had no idea where to set him, what piece of jewelry to make.

Recently I was making earrings with half moon shape and an idea for this beautiful piece of gemstone came.

I created a bezel on the half moon sterling silver shape and then set it on the ring.

I oxidized the silver and brushed it, then I set the moonstone.

Contrast between the oxidized silver and gemstone gives this ring a mystic look.

  1. Ivana, I love your bold, striking ring and the story of the moonstone’s journey. I especially the clean, contrasting lines in this piece. It feels like a moonlight mystery.

  2. Such a gorgeous design – I love the moonstone offset like that!

  3. Rena Klingenberg & Cortine Thank you Ladies, I appreciate it 🙂

  4. Powerful design Ivana! I get inspirations from very strange places, too. I try to act on them, or write them down before I forget! It’s so great that Rena has provided us with a forum to share our experiences, globally! We are all one and must continually motivate each other! Peace & Love, Virginia

  6. Virginia Vivier and Linda – Thank you very much!
