Moonstone Ring Story

This “bigger” piece of moonstone was waiting his place on a piece of jewelry.

I bought it two years ago and had no idea where to set him, what piece of jewelry to make.

Recently I was making earrings with half moon shape and an idea for this beautiful piece of gemstone came.

I created a bezel on the half moon sterling silver shape and then set it on the ring.

I oxidized the silver and brushed it, then I set the moonstone.

Contrast between the oxidized silver and gemstone gives this ring a mystic look.
