Mini Picture Frame Earring Displays

A few months ago, I was able to purchase a bunch of these little wee photo frames for about .50 each. I believe they were made to be used at wedding place-settings. I immediately thought how pretty they would look with elegant earrings hanging in them, and how easily they would work as a display item.

I didn’t want them to look like wedding items though, so I added two shades of pink paint to highlight the flowers and ribbons. I used card stock for the backing.

I thought they would be especially pretty with my angel earrings hanging in them, and they are.

I decided to make up ten pairs of earrings that would be pretty in my little frames. I colour-coordinated the collection, using pearls, crystals and pink beads. I rent a booth in a store, and took my collection out there and just set them out on a place mat. It was so easy to set up, and they really looked pretty.

It also makes a special gift for a customer to pick up. Not only are they getting earrings, but a little hand-painted frame as well, which can also be used for a picture.
