Jump Ring Failure: How do I avoid it?

Does anyone ever have a problem when using your jump rings to attach lobster clasps, etc. when they come apart?

You can only make it so “tight” (closed) before the jump ring will bend.

I have a very hard time from keeping the pieces from falling apart. 🙁
